Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Benefits of Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision provides a space for psychotherapists at any stage in their career to:
Meet CRPO requirements (if qualifying or working towards independent practice)
Promote professional development and growth
Engage in clinical discussion and support ongoing work with clients
Enhance and promote Safe and Effective Use of Self (SEUS) in the therapeutic relationship
Safeguard the wellbeing of clients
How I work with supervisees
With over 15-years of clinical experience working with youth, young adults, and adults, I specialize in working with Anxiety and Reproductive Mental Health (Perinatal, Maternal and Infant Mental Health), among other presenting concerns and therapeutic modalities.
I work collaboratively with supervisees to support you in your professional growth and development, increase your competency, and support your ethical care of clients. I focus on building supervisee’s strengths, while developing the self-reflective skills necessary to explore areas for continued improvement and learning.
Who can be supervised?
I provide individual or dyadic clinical supervision to:
Recent graduates from their professional programs
RP (Qualifying) therapists
RP’s working towards independence practice
RP’s who are seeking supervision and additional specific supports (eg: quality assurance programs or specific modality/population support)
Supervision sessions satisfy the CRPO requirements for supervision hours. Sessions can be offered on an as-need basis in a consultation role, or can be part of an ongoing supervision relationship for professionals entering the field and requiring oversight of their client files, looking to change modalities/population focus or engage in ongoing learning and professional growth.
